Hey
I don’t know if one else’s is little one is going this my 9 month old is rolling her wrist and flapping her hands mainly when she’s excited wants something or about to get dinner , the delightful Google points to autism I mean if she has then that’s also ok but as every parent you just want your baby to be ok I’ve read a lot some people there children do the same I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this ?
Just I’m constantly reading and the more I read the more I’m
Putting into my head she has eye contact she’s sitting up playing interacting with other children pointing she’s not crawling but think we’re nearly there

Normal for babies to flap their arms and hands when excited. Please don't jump to conclusions about autism, babies behaviours can be very diverse as they learn about the world and their bodies etc.

My little girl does this too when she's excited or when I'm trying to give her Calpol she will flap her hands so I think it's normal!

Mine wrist twirls and opens and closes her wrists constantly. Especially when in the high chair. Took her to the GP for an ear infection and mentioned the wrist twirling and the GP said it was very normal and that she’s likely to be doing it as she can’t communicate yet. Same as you, very social, lots of eye contact, babbling and attempts to crawl. I’m trying to stay off Google this time around. My son hand flapped and tiptoe walked for ages and everything pointed to autism. He’s now 2 and developing normally as far as we can tell. Try not to worry as google will tell you nearly all normal baby behaviours “can” be a sign of autism.

I stopped googling stuff as it only stresses me out. Mind you, im a pediatric nurse so you would think I should know better🤣🤣
my little girl is exactly the same and more In the high chair
I know the more you read into it the more you look at them and think is that another sign and there’s a lot about this about hands etc pointing to autism , it’s just such a constant worry you just want the best for them but can’t help but worry I mean there’s nothing wrong if she did but you just constantly worrying I’m glad I’m not the only one in the situation and feels the same I look at other babies at her play group and don’t see much so it does make me think but she’s sitting up pulling herself up now attempting to crawl and very social at play groups and eye contact so half not worried
