Not too clued up about formula sorry but I know some woman just feed on one side for a variety of reasons and apparently the boob will adjust and make the right amount of milk but it can make you have uneven boobs though. You could also try a nipple shield on the left side and see if baby accepts that it may help with pain. But totally get how painful it can be I had a solid week of extreme pain where I was crying and biting my hand to get through it.. luckily it got less extreme but never fully went so you have to do what’s right for you. when I was feeding and in so much pain it was affecting my bond with her as I was just so upset all the time I would have 100% have switched to formula if it hadn’t have subsided it just isn’t sustainable to be in pain all the time. Funny thing was it didn’t hurt when I tried pumping though 🤷♀️ But I hope the pain goes soon 💕
Have you tried the silver cups? These saved me after just one day of wearing! Might be worth a try. 🤍 Xxx
If you wanted to keep breastfeeding you could possibly try combo feeding I do it with my daughter as we’ve struggled with feeding a bit and I struggled with my son it’s worked great for us, if not there’s nothing wrong with formula my son thrived off it xx
I recently stopped breastfeeding after mastitus. They said to try and do it slowly, dropping one feed a day. Otherwise you risk engorgment. I was on actimil, but aldi Mamia is exactly the same as actimal, same ingredients and made in the same factory. However, it loads cheaper than actimil as you are just paying for the brand. So I switched to mamia now :) x
