Is anyone else dealing with an extremely picky eater? My son will only eat snacks, yogurt, and cereal bars. He won't eat fruits, veggies, or meat. No matter how much he is offered, he isn't willing to try them. He has never been a good solid food eater. He loves milk and I refrain from giving him it before meals.

My daughter would only eat home made Mac and cheese or marmite on toast with the occasional banana if she was feeling sassy. She grew out of it be 4 or 5. I feel for you, I know how stressful it is. As long as he isn’t underweight he’s fine. He’ll eat when you give up trying 🙌🤣

Mine eats best if it is my food. He will refuse something on his plate, and then eat every last bit of it off my plate.

I’d talk to his pediatrician and see if they can get you a referral for food therapy. It can be super helpful. They’ll help see if it’s just behavioral or if there’s an actual aversion. We thought my daughter was just picky, but it turns out she’s got some other things going on

You could try setting the food up like a grazing table type of situation. You could try a fruit or veggie tray with dips and just setting it out to let them explore themselves. Over the holidays we were at a family members house for a party and usually my kids don't eat much at those because they're too busy playing but my daughter kept going back to the veggie tray without me saying a word to pick a tomato or carrot and she probably ate every single one off the tray by the time we left. My older daughter refused almost any kind of meats until she was around 5, so I know it can be tough.
