Fast milk flow

I have to same problem and I normally hold my boob from underneath and it sort of helps x

I got that too and ive been told to sit back more, that stops the flow from going too fast and your baby can regulate it better. My baby hasn't coughed since 🤗 hope it works x

It happens to my baby more often with night feeds. Because I go for longer in between feeds, so I'm a little bit engorged when I feed her and that makes the flow faster. I usually just try to sit her up more and mostly it helps, but sometimes she still chokes. I am going to try sitting back more myself now and see if that helps.

I use a Hakka/manual pump to get some of it out before he feeds - slightly annoying but does also get milk I can use in his baths! X

Sit on a slight recline so your LO can regulate the flow better😊

Slight recline and I also press back against my breast for a few seconds with a finger across my nipple to slow the flow
If I'm very full from not feeding her from overnight then I hand express to get a bit off and try and drain out the fountain duct!
