Toddler reins

Idk but I gotta get one lol my toddler is learning he can run away from me and I live on a busy street so going on walks is stressful! He won’t stay in his stroller or push car anymore.

Because they're like a dog lead.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree with that, but that's the main reason.

I agree with Caroline in respect of the reasons although I do use them as he’s a lose cannon, goes deaf when I speak to him when we’re out and tries to run away. It’s for their safety x

People seem to think it's the same as walking a dog.
Personally I have no issue with reins, sometimes they're needed.

Agreed. Dogs are on a lead to keep them safe! Babies are on reins to stop them getting themselves in danger! No issues for me x

I didn't know they were. Some kids/moms can tolerate them others not so much.

Before I had a toddler I thought it was abusive and like a dog leash. Now that I have a toddler I completely understand the concept 🤣 have thought of getting one several times!

Because people always have opinions and they find it comparable to dogs on leads. I see plenty of dogs that should be on a leash without one. So go figure.

I see nurseries use leads to take children on walks around the community. To me it seems sensible.

I think it depends on your view of them. Every child is different. I preferred to teach my little ones dangers and stick to routine. She has never had reins and now holds my hands along the roads, crossing roads and in car parks. I feel putting reins on her will cause her to not understand the dangers.
But I'm also aware that some parents parent differently and all children are different!
