When did everyone start letting their Baby sleep with a teddy or comforter, we recently put my daughter in her own bed (still in our room) I think she’d feel comforted in the night with a teddy but I’m still a bit nervous cos of suffocation risks, ik she can move things away from her face she can roll and everything (she’s 9 months old)
I don’t know if I’m over thinking what do you guys think?

It’s down to what you feel comfortable with. Official guidance says not until baby is a year old. I let my baby have one at 8 months, others don’t wait that long, some wait longer.

Around 10 months but I was anxious about it until he was closer to 1🤣 he’s 16 months now and he just has the one comforter in with him x

8 months he had a comforter with him, I also “taught” him how to pull things of his head! So when he was laying I would put a blanket over his head to learn to pull it off the same when he was sitting either in his car seat or on the floor popped a blanket or mussy over him and he just pulls it off now x

He started to have one at 4 months, it helps him self settle x

haha I did this with my daughter too now it results in taking her hat off sometimes 😅

It’s not recommended until a year by the safe sleep guidelines
