My little boy still needs me in the room or hand on his back when falling asleep and does end up falling asleep ok by himself. However for about 15 mins before he falls asleep, if I take my hand off his back or move away he crawls to the end of his cot and repetitively bangs his head against it. He now knows I will come running if he does it which is frustrating but I can’t just let him bang his head!
Has anyone else had this experience? Any advice or anything you bought to at least cushion the blow?!

It means he needs you.my lg needs me to fall asleep and therefore I’m there with her and she falls asleep on my chest. I provide her with what she needs. ❤️
