We’ve already switched back to formula already. I’ve never seen him in so much pain. Already gave gas drops

we just experienced this last week & we switched over from 2% milk (which made him very constipated) and tried A2 whole milk (mixed in with his formula). So far he’s been doing really well and we’ve tried to only add in little at a time.

We did switch cold turkey and have just been using Sam’s Club brand whole milk. Good to know. Thank you

This happened to my daughter too! Had to switch back to formula, still trying to find a solution long term

Do 1 oz cows milk with your formula and slowly increase the amount of cows milk and decrease formula as you increase cows milk. If you used a gentle or low lactose formula try lastose free milk.

This happened at first too! But we mixed. Day one 1oz whole milk rest of the bottle formula. And day by day increased whole milk until it was all whole milk. Also make sure baby is getting the proper nutrition and vitamins from meals to help with constipation

You have to slowly introduce baby’s system to milk. Like Amy suggested above.

Try oat milk mixed with one scoop of formula and oatmeal baby cereal. Also try reguline formula

I think that’s a good idea too but my pediatrician even after calling them and telling them what’s going on, told me not to mix formula with whole milk at all. Poor guys booty is bleeding when he poops.

try giving him more water? That helps my baby with constipation. You should also mix a little prune purée with water like a juice in a sippy cup to drink throughout the day

I mixed apple juice & water which also helped my LO pass through his constipation.

Maybe try raw milk? Or low temp raw milk. The way that milk is made these days is super inflammatory :(

Try oat milk or Lactose free whole milk

There is no need to drink baby cows milk. You can get calcium and protein from soy or pea based milk and they both contain fiber. I'm so sorry about the constipation 😔 that is heartbreaking 😢
For constipation soak like 10 prunes in half a cup of warm water for a little bit then blend it all into a puree and feed it to your baby and give lots of water!
Worst case scenario you could ask your pediatrician if it's ok to do mirilax. It is safe for babies but always ask pediatrician first.
