How many teeth ?

My baby just started walking last week of January at 10 months. By now he has mastered walking and running in the house and on his playpen. But he only has 2 bottom teeth. Other babies same age already have 8 teeth. Googled it and says could be genetics or poor nutrition. I think to myself could be poor nutrition? As I'm not really giving him multivitamins, just drops of vit.D. and I had stopped giving that to him for 3 months. Also he's not eating much. I tried mixing his vitamins into his food or water but as soon as he tasted it he stopped taking water and food so I just skipped that. He is exclusively breastfeed up to now that he's 11 months old. Is it normal for him to have just 2 bottom teeth at his age,?

Try this it’s got the nhs recommended levels in for A,C and D . The well kid ones or anything with iron in taste foul but these taste nice and is tiny amount of liquid.

But no I doubt poor nutrition is the reason he only has two teeth’s. Mines almost 11 months and only has four teeth and has great nutrition

My LO has her two bottom teeth, and two just cutting through.

She isn’t very keen on food all together, but is worse everytime a tooth is coming. I can only get her to eat snacks (toast, air fried veg or some fruits), she refuses anything else, even stuff she used to love like yogurt.

She is close to walking - can take two steps before launching herself at me.

I don’t think it’s got anything to do with nutrition, just the fact that every baby is different.

My little boy only has his 2 bottom teeth and is 1 in 2 weeks , I’m not too worried they’ll come in when they are ready xx

No teeth and 1 in about 2.5 weeks

My nearly 1yo has only 2 teeth but it looks like the top two are close. Anecdotally I’ve been told that babies tend to either walk talk take to food or cut teeth first. This is my third baby and each only got their first tooth about 10mo

Mine only got her bottom through about 2 weeks ago and is almost 1. I’m not worried at all. Neither me nor either of my sisters had any teeth until after we all turned 1.

Don't read stuff it makes it worse. It can't be poor nutrition at least on my end she eats everything under the sun - except yogurt.

Also I know it's way and we all think this ...no one is a perfect mom or dad but good lord we are trying our bloody best so NEVER think you aren't doing enough..because you are!!

I’m a dentist…. It’s totally random why some kids get their teeth early and others later on… but they all get there! Don’t be hard on yourself for something you can’t control xxx

My 11 month hasn’t got any teeth.

My baby boy is 11 months and only had his bottom 2 teeth for about 3 months, his top two only cut a couple of weeks ago so I wouldn’t be too worried. He eats everything’s and weaned pretty well onto food months ago .My nephew is two weeks younger and has about 8 but he’s only just started weaning onto proper food so I really think it’s mainly genetics. Xx

My 11 month old daughter has 6 teeth. 4 on top and 2 bottom teeth. Very far off walking xxx

13 mos and still 2 bottom teeth. 2 up is swelling but not descending yet.

Anyone work for the NHS and does 12 hour shifts? How do you work around childcare and your partners job?

Husband and I decided to separate 3 days ago. I've been sleeping on the floor in the kids room, and we both have to stay in the same apartment for a while. He wont stop pushing little things and I am reaching my limit. Photos in comments

Toddlers

How often are your toddlers asking for food? My oldest who is 3 just finished a whole plate of food and not even 10 minutes later he’s requesting more food. I know he’s going through a growth spurt, but how do you respond to this.

Is this normal?

Is it just my husband that does this? He is able to work from home via his computer and in the mornings and evenings he is on there doing his job. When he is done for the day he tends to stay in the room and either play video games or watch something. He will occasionally come out and play with the girls for a few minutes and that’s it but when I really need him he says he is busy. My daughters are both 1 year old now and I am just wondering how much involvement should he have with them now?
Idk if this is the norm or not…..

Identity crisis?

Am I the only sahm who feels like they have lost their identity??? I don’t make money for my family, when I used to make great money. But I refuse to drop my under a year old baby off with strangers.
My husband works so much. But I have no control over bringing in money and I’m a control freak type of person! I feel l like I’m losing my grip because we are kind of broke, but day care would only eat up my income anyways! So what’s the point. I’m a workaholic and now I’m just a twitching bum.
I wish I could work from home but so far that’s a fake dream. I’m almost 9 months pp, and I just need to know these awful mood swings and depression will end soon! Send wine!

Saying NO to buying toys etc

5 year old is getting really envious of others. He is obsessed with items that other kids have at school. I am pestered daily to buy these things in a different style when we already have 3 others. I have seen parents just buying stuff their kid likes which I don't necessarily agree with even when i can afford it. How do you deal with it?
