Any help for how to stop my 5mo rolling over in his sleep. He keeps rolling onto his tummy sound asleep then wakes up in a tummy time position.
This is a very recent thing, before he had been sleeping fine on his back. It also seems to only be happening when he's in his cot/at night. Day time naps are also fine.
He's has (also me) been awake since half 3 this morning. I'm just done now😓

Thanks everyone. After a pretty rough night for both of us, I found him sound asleep on his tummy this morning. Turns out he wants to sleep like his dad. Guess .ost of you were right just to leave him be xxx

Once our babe started rolling onto her tummy, we switched her into the top part of her playard instead of her bassinet. It helped us feel better knowing she had more room to roll back onto her back if needed. It's okay for them to sleep after rolling onto their tummy as long as when you're putting them to sleep, you are placing them to lay on their back.

My pediatrician said to always put him to sleep on his back but if he rolled over himself it was safe to leave him once he could roll both ways on his own.

My baby had a solid 4 weeks of every time he rolled over in his sleep would get super upset about being there and wake up screaming.
After many many many sleepless nights he realised he actually quite likes his tummy and now we can’t even try to put him on his back to sleep- he will roll straight away to tummy (also just like his daddy). He’s now a year old and has been sleeping on his tummy since 5 months
