Just me?

My toddler doesn't eat a wide variety of food either yet used to eat everything ... But he is also fussy if he's ever with anyone else which he's rarely with anyone else 😅

My little boy is the same, will eat anything that nursery offers him but gets home and only wants jam sandwiches! I've still been cooking different things each day but doesn't seem to make any difference. Nursery said it's really common at this age and they will outgrow it eventually 🥰

Exactly the same here, she won't even eat the last remaining acceptable vegetable anymore 😂 she lives of fruit and biscuits some days, but at nursery she apparently eats vegetable curry and GOULASH??? 🧐😂

Yes! The H.V told me not to offer alternatives and I find it so difficult 😭 if he doesn't eat his dinner I would give him something more substantial for supper but she said he will get used to that and continue to not eat his main meal but I don't want him to go hungry 🤦

that's really outdated advice

mine is so fickle. He used to eat a huge portion of lasagna, I made it last night and he told me he doesn’t like lasagna. He’s so much worse when his dad is away at work but when we all sit down together at the table he’ll eat anything as long as it’s the same as his Dad. Makes me feel so upset that he’ll eat for him and not me

These comments make me feel so much better 😆 my little one used to try everything. Liked most things. Ate good portions. Now 🙄 she won't even try anything new! I will put it in front of her and just says no when I ask her to try it. Won't eat anything potato based. Used to love roast chicken now won't touch it. Lives off sausages, toasties, pasta and fruit 🫠
