I don't know why I feel like this. I am so easily triggered recently. I have lots of anxiety around how I'm perceived by my partner's family, I feel absolutely useless. I'm pregnant with my second and in the last week have just hated everything. I don't want to eat or drink or talk to anyone. I don't want to work or socialise. I don't have the energy to just pretend anymore and hope it goes away. These thoughts are racing and it's tiring me out. Does anyone know if this is normal in the late stages of pregnancy (33weeks), I'd like to stop crying about the smallest of things. I tell people I have a fantastic support network however I don't feel I could ever ask for help, it feels like I've exhausted all the help I'm entitled to.

Yes definitely.
33 weeks and due with my second too. Absolutely feel this way.
More emotional, more exhausted, less sleep and quality time with my man and my first child.
Don’t feel guilty, don’t add more to your stress and keep reaching out for support.
Our bodies have carried a child before and so it’s harder with each pregnancy on our body. Relaxin is released earlier which adds to the exhaustion.
I finished up work at 30 weeks because I couldn’t do it anymore. I feel better for it but still having those challenging days.
We’re almost at the end babes.

Maybe less time around people and more time just sitting with yourself. Your thoughts are running wild and you have to find peace in your mind first. Maybe solo walks in nature. I find when I feel like I'm being judged it's easier to remove the outside so I can quiet my inside. Sometimes us mommas have a lot going on and it feels like we can never stop. I'm to the point I even tell the 5 year old to give me a break literally. Mommy is tired and a little sad. I need space to fix my thoughts and feelings. She kisses me and goes to bother someone else lol 😆 🙃 if you need help ask. All you can get is a no but give yourself a break and try practicing gratitude. Look around at all the blessings you have and everything out of place doesn't seem so bad. I hope you feel better and emotions are huge in pregnancy. You are definitely not alone. Plus if you need to vent us mommas are here for you 💗

thank you, it's good to know it's just pregnancy hormones and adjusting to another bit of mental load.

thank you, you're definitely right about being grateful, I'd like to focus more on the positives and goodness in my life and bring that to my baby while I'm carrying her rather than the sadness.

that's a wonderful decision 😊 on the way to school I ask my kiddos what's 3 things they are greatful for and on the days I forget they ask me...it helps us remember to practice gratitude....pregnancy hormones are tricky and so are the emotions after baby. I did a lot of walking in nature to clear my head and be alone.
