Hello Mamas !
Looking for hints / tips or anyone in a similar situation so i don't feel so alone..
My LO just cries all the time - he was absolutely fine until about a week ago but since hitting maybe 10 weeks he just doesn't stop 😪 we are exhausted and have no idea whats wrong or how to help him. Tried every trick in the book and nothing works. Hes always been a rubbish sleeper but recently he fights it so hard hes ending up exhausted and physically making himself ill from crying so hard. Hes CONSTANTLY feeding (breastfed) and i now dont know if its from hunger of for comfort. Weve been to the gp and a&e as he had a rash and other symptoms and were told it was viral but that was over a week ago now... i absolutely love my wee guy but i feel like im gonna lose it with the sleep deprivation 😴 i also just feel so bad if hes in pain or in totally missing something 😭
Anyone else have / had similar and can suggest anything! Literally will try anything.

I’m so sorry to hear this ❤️ I’m sure you’ve considered these ideas/may not want to try them but if it is hunger, would you consider a top up of formula and see if he guzzles that down? You could try that one day to rule out hunger.
And then another day try some calpol to see if it could be that he is in pain?
It might help you to rule out those causes.
My little girl fights sleep massively, each nap and bedtime are really hard trying to get her to go to sleep!
I have found that when she’s inconsolable, it can help just to open the back door and get some fresh air on her face for a minute. Sending you lots of love, everything feels so much worse when you’ve had no sleep, but this will get better ❤️ x

Don’t have any tips but just wanted to say we’re going through the same thing. My lg is 12 weeks and this week she has just cried constantly and fed constantly and it feels so draining
@Alice we thought maybe he was teething so did give him calpol and that did settle him for a while tonight, he slept on my chest for a good 4 hours ! Huge success- but the second i transferred to the next to me he started crying again. He sounds so blocked up and congested all the time we are so worried he cant breath right 😖 ill deff try the formula i think as my boobs are agony and he never seems fully satisfied after a feed.
He does usually sleep after a walk so fresh air could be another trick just before bed !
Thank you its so hard and me and my partner are both feeling it. My partner also upset as he doesn't seem to be settling with him at all atm either 🫤
Trying to keep going and remember that it's just a season 🙈
@Megan its so hard isnt it. It feels like everyone else has sleepy babies and im so worried he isnt happy or something is wrong 😭

I’ve definitely had weeks where you are and I’m sure I’ll have more to come 😥 The other week I had to leave the house as soon as my husband got home. I just needed ten minutes on my own to clear my head as it felt like I’d been yelled at all day and that I was getting it all wrong.
If he seems congested you could try a nasal spray and using the Calpol vapour plug.
I know how hard it is when you feel like you’re constantly troubleshooting. It’s so so hard when they can’t tell us what’s wrong and we just want to fix it.
Also I’m sure you’ve checked this one already but I remember reading someone say they hadn’t noticed there was a little hair wrapped around their baby’s toe and it had been causing them pain.
Sorry just trying to think of all the things I would check!
It’s really difficult not being able to talk to them because for all we know they have a headache or ear ache, but how are we meant to know that!
@Alice no your absolutely right to have gone and had 10 minutes to yourself. My MIL took him on Thursday for a few hours and i literally just lay on my couch 🙈 as did my partner - we were burst !
Ive got a nasal spray ive been using, i was gonna try the vapour plug in but have 4 pets and it said it can be harmful to them, might be worth trying in our bedroom though where they dont go !
I know i just wish they could tell us poor things 🫤 funnily enough my mum told me about the hair thing ! So i check all the time now cos i do have really long hair 🙈
No fire away any suggestions i haven't tried ill be willing to give a go haha

I’m going through same thing with my little boy, past 3 weeks has been a nightmare, he is constantly congested, he is crying house down but he also refuses his milk, sometimes take my breast for comfort but some days he barely eats..i’m not sure what’s going on but been already to few doctors but nothing..he is now 13 weeks, so started at 10 ish weeks..😭
