Hi ladies,
Just wondering if any of you give your toddlers magnesium vitamins to help with their sleep?
Thanks š„°

Nope, unless recommended by GP you shouldn't give vitamins

I give a multi vitamin that specifically contains iron (not many do) as his levels were low when checked for any issues that may be causing bad sleep. They said it could be restless legs.
He is a bit better but I canāt say itās that š

if the GP prescribed this then amazing, however if you are giving it because his level where low just keep in mind that iron can be taken just for short amounts of period otherwise it can risk intoxication. I know because I take iron regularly as I have low levels but never for more than 1 month and me as an adult notice that at the end of the month I'm feeling a bit sick because I've taken it for too long. Imagine a child. Other vitamins like c/d don't pose too much of a risk but iron can poison. Of course this is only if you are taking it without prescription, if you have the approval of the GP then listen to them as they know your sonš

yes he had it on prescription and the one he has now is just an off the shelf Well Baby vitamin šš»
