Has anyone started potty training? I want to try and start but don’t know where to start lol. With my first who’s now 11 I just picked her up from nursery one day and they said don’t put her in a nappy 🤣

We loosely started a while ago but planning to do a couple of nappy free days in the house next time the weather is shit.
It's the thought of my 6 month old and toddler in the house for 2/3 days that is putting me off! I seriously struggle with not getting out daily 😂

With my now 4 year old, we just did it. Once you start dont go back. We had about 4 days at home. Every 30.mins I would put her on the toilet. Eventually she would tell me when she needed to go. I know each child is different!

I feel you! I have a 2 year old and 1 year old. Let’s just say when we go out I regret it and want to cry 🤣

We did it back in October and he’s completely dry. I would say pants straight away so they feel wet if they have an accident and just no pressure - if they don’t seem ready - try again in a month. I put him on the potty every 30 mins and made a BIG deal when he did one - didn’t trust him
To tell me for a good month - eventually he started telling me more and more and now he doesn’t have any accidents - probably hasn’t since Christmas. Nursery took longer with poos but I think that was more on them than him as I had a good chat with them at parents evening and he’s not had an accident there since either. I think most importantly - just don’t rush it - if they’re not ready it’ll be hard work for both of you!

My boy isn’t showing any signs of being ready yet. His speech is a bit behind yet his understanding is amazing. I think I’ll most probably try in the summer when we are outside more and he can be a bit more free if he is showing signs that he’s ready. Good luck xx
