Spotting at 8 weeks pregnant

Have you been having sex? I know that can cause spotting in early pregnancy. But I’ve also been told light spotting in the beginning of pregnancy is usually just a sign that ur pregnant/implantation bleeding and it’s nothing to worry about but if you’re still worried I’d say phone the early pregnancy unit and ask for their advice x

Hey! I started spotting quite early on & it lasted about a month or so. I got a scan at about 6-7 weeks and everything was fine.

It’s so much easier to say, but try not to worry too much, as it’s so normal as long as it’s not heavy or fresh bright red blood.
You got an early scan, which showed everything was fine so take comfort in that xx

No worries, as long as it’s light and doesn’t hurt when u spot the early pregnancy unit told me it’s because of the changes in your cervix’s so sex can make it sensitive in the first few months xx

My doctor told me to expect spotting after the scan if it was vaginal. But i agree with the other comments 🫶
