Not really baby related but just needed to get it out.
My partner is really disappointing me.
I am pregnant again with my second and due in May and we have a 23 month old. He has not been interested in this pregnancy at all!
On mothers day he didn’t even wish me a happy mothers day or do anything special for me
A couple weeks ago I was unwell for about 3 weeks with a bad cough and sore throat and not once was I offered help or anything, today he has told me he has a sore throat and is there any medicine, I began to tell him to just drink some tea and when I was ill I was not offered any medicine or help and he proceeded to say he will just go to his mums so she can help him out.
Intimacy barely exists anymore and I just don’t feel loved, I can’t talk to him about any of this as lately his just been so unapproachable or on his phone as usual or will be gaming with his friends at night with headphones on when our little one is asleep as thats the only real time we get to speak properly with eachother.
Its just so unfortunate this is happening all now when I am due soon as its got me thinking is our relationship even going to survive having a second child, we was good and had survived the trenches of having our first and these last couple of weeks/months really has me questioning.

This sounds like a lot of partners, and they need to start looking after their family instead of being selfish and only looking out for themselves. You need to talk to him because you're going to need his support when baby arrives, otherwise, resentment is going to build up more and more. I'm always moaning at my husband because he doesn't help with things I'd like him to, but he does other stuff that I need to be more grateful for, as well as working and being the only provider financially. Although I don't feel appreciated for caring for our daughter and juggling everything else. As for mothers day, a lot of partners think they shouldn't do anything for you because you're not their mum. What they don't seem to understand is that until children are older, they need to help them to show their mum how much they love them. Did he do anything for his mum? He shouldn't go running off to his mum when he is poorly, how old is he? Surely he can take care of himself and not expect you to make him better x
