My last birth I used pads and I have no issue using them again.
I am interested in the idea of adult diapers, but I'm not sure what size to go with. Do I size up, size down or stick to my usual weight size?

I’d go bigger than you think you’ll need in adult nappies, I was humbled when I bought mine 🤣 I did find them super uncomfortable (maybe because they were a bit tight…) because they came super close to my scar. I did find them invaluable for my first proper period though! xx

i stuck to my size to avoid anything shifting from being loose.
honestly it was extremely helpful to use them especially if i needed to tend to baby and couldnt spend too long in the br.
they’re also really comfortable!

Pads. Taking my trousers off every time I needed to change was far too much effort than I could be bothered with

I went with my usual size and I loved them! I got a small pack and I used them for about a week and then went to thick pads. I had a emergency c section so I was in the hospital for 5 days since my boy had phototherapy. I literally just walked around in those and a shirt. Went home and only wore them just for a couple more days afterwards.

valid point!

I went up a size and absolutely thought the diapers were my best postpartum purchase. I was planning on my 2nd vaginal birth but there were obviously other plans and the adult diapers still came through fantastically.
I got the Amazon Essentials ones and love them, I say goodbye to them tomorrow as I will start using normal underwear with regular pads.

The diapers are great at night when sleeping! I wore them during the day for the first few days then just at night

I couldn’t recommend adult diapers more. I even used them for my first pp period because it was so heavy.

Diapers all the way. Stuck to my normal size/went larger and they were comfortable.
