Iv wanted a floor bed for my son for a while now but we haven’t had the money his birthday is in May and my mam has said she will get him his floor/low bed for him as we can’t he has a baby gate at his bedroom door but he can open the door I’m wanting to know how you with littles in a floor bed deal with them getting up and out the bed if they can open there own door what do you do we have a baby that will be 10m at the time that goes to bed at the same time so I’d rather not have my 2yo at his bedroom door shouting waking the baby up

that’s what I’m hopeing he is like as he’s never tired to climb out his cot and he puts himself to sleep I was just thinking of the time when we put him to bed and he’s still awake he’ll roll around and talk to himself for abit then fall asleep, if she gets the one she showed me it had little sides on so hopefully he’ll feel like he’s in his cot still

My daughter only gets out when she’s still awake usually first thing in the morning, we have a baby gate on her door which she likes to come up to and shout mama really loudly 😂🤦♀️ (she can open the door) luckily her big sister is a deep sleeper as its usually 5.30/6am. She’s currently in a normal cot with the side taken off and a bed guard put on. We will be transitioning to her big girl bed soon.

My son who is 2 and a half years old has a floor bed and can open the door but we taught him not to come out when he is awake just wait for us to come
I usually hear him play and making noises so I know he is awake or checking on him sometimes if he is awake this is when he is napping only
At night he sleeps through and wake me up in the morning by coming up to our bed a lay with us or tapping my face to wake me up 😂
He is in our room as we have his little sister 11 month in the other room who can't be with us other wise she won't sleep 😅
