Liverpool womens hospital

Does anyone know if the liverpool women’s are still doing reassurance scans that i can pay for? If not does anyone know where i can go in liverpool for a scan i should be around 9 weeks but theres no way i can wait until 12 weeks just want confirmation that I’m actually pregnant 😅

Depending where you live there’s window to the womb in Speke and there’s also before the stork in Litherland both do early reassurance scans from 6 weeks.

U can go in on a friday (apparently) gynaecology has a walk in part for early pregnancys and scans xx

very convenient my booking appointment is for the Friday i was hoping to get something for the same day so if thats the case it works out perfect, thank you! x

If someone can drive you then take a peek in St Helens is great. Usually get quick appointment x

im having a look online now it says “to book a scan with firstScan a positive pregnancy test result is required” does that mean i have to take my test with me to show them or i just need to of had a positive test result if you know what i mean? 😂

Haha no you just need to have had one and know your last period date don’t worry I thought the same haha x

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
