He’s at the point of flipping the problem onto me since I’ve reduced communication to writing (text) trying to accuse me of the very thing he’s been doing since the beginning…… and
What’s confusing is it does look like I’m doing the same thing except I’m doing it for my peace.
So what now? Eventually I have to respond but how?

My bd does the same thing. Saying that I lack communication. But let’s be honest, they were lying about us before we started reducing communication. So we have to understand that they are going to lie & flip it on us whether we communicate fully or not, that’s just who they are. I definitely recommend keeping the communication in writing by text, email, or app (unless there’s an emergency). This is to help keep track of the proof of the conversations. Also, it’s ok to respond as long as it’s only about the kids. Anything outside of the kids, ignore because essentially it’s irrelevant. Sorry for the late response. Hope this helps!

Also, as long as you’re responding about the kids, keep in mind that your peace is what’s most important. Who cares what anyone else thinks about how it looks. It is imperative that you are mentally and emotionally healthy for yourself and your children! The manipulative tactics are to break you, don’t give him the satisfaction.
