Hi guys! So my daughter will be turning one in two weeks! 😭💗 Anyways, she typically has about 25-32oz of formula per day, and 3 solid meals in between. However, I feel like when I give her solids, she doesn’t actually eat it because she just spits the food out. Like she’ll chew the food in her mouth and she seems to really enjoy it, but I think she has a hard time swallowing it bc she always just spits it out. And when she does try to swallow it, she’ll gag and throw it up. Does anyone else’s baby do that, or do your babies actually eat their food? I see other mom’s on IG showing how much their baby eats in a day and I’m like WTH that’s almost what I eat, how are they eating that much!? lmao I try not to compare my baby to others but sometimes I just get in my head and worry ya know? Lol

We have been struggling to transition Chanyeol to table food. He’s content with purées and formula. He likes rice, sweet potatoes and mash potatoes.

My ped tells me that food before 1 is just for fun! My son will be 1 in 4 days and he will tear up an entire container of puree mixed with rice and drink a 6 oz bottle of formula mixed with milk. And all the snacks too. But he doesn’t seem to like to chew his food all the way and has choked on food so we backed off for a while until he got more teeth

Now we are reintroducing some at a time

My son struggles with bread and meats. He will be 1 in 3 weeks
