I’ve been up since 3:45am with my daughter and I’m just so tired. I feel so bad because I get so frustrated with her and I know it’s not her fault. She’ll sleep for 5 minutes and then she’s up again. I sat in the living room and rocked her while I cried and I feel better, but nights like these are so hard. I get upset because I’m so tired and then get upset that I’m upset. We’re back in the room now and she’s sleeping but I can’t fall asleep worried she’ll just be right back up again.

I just had one of those nights try to go back to sleep even if it’s just for a little while it will help your mood and I’m sure she will wake you up

I've just had one of those nights myself and it's so difficult trying to balance your own emotions when your sleep deprived. Just remember that it does get better, sleep when you can gal, baby is maybe struggling to shut off for sleep herself but she will eventually tire out and fall over for longer

I had countless nights like this for the first four weeks, and I’m not sure if this would work for everybody, but it really worked for me taking baths together and giving a bath every night for bed if they’re old enough to do so to establish a routine
Also, I found using one of my T-shirts as a bedsheet for my baby bed really helped him know that he wasn’t alone it’s okay to get frustrated. It’s a normal part of motherhood you are doing the best for your daughter keep up the amazing work!!!
