£1.3K in Scotland for 4 days and £1.55K for 5, per month

We’re going to be looking at just short of £400 a month for 3 full days a week, this is before any of the government free childcare hours & 20% tax free childcare too, so will eventually be cheaper than that! We are however going with a childminder rather than a nursery x

It was around 2k a month when my son was under 2. It’s a few hundred less now that he is 2 (since the ratio changed). It really is more than many people’s mortgage payments.

We were quoted $495 a week for 3 days. Still looking for better options.

Our YMCA has a daycare 4 hours 8am-12am I think it’s like 300 $ a month plus YMCA membrship fee. So it’s really much more affordable than other places

We were paying 390 a week, billed every 2 weeks so it was about $1500 a month 🙈🇺🇸 (Nebraska) that was for 6weeks-12 months, get a cheaper as child get older. I just decided to become a SAHM and casually look for remote jobs

Houston, Texas here: We pay $333 a week for full time for a toddler and will pay double that when we add our infant in a few months.

You don't have daycare assistance? I just applied, got approved, & now will be paying $3 a week for pre-k program full time 😩

Lowest is $350/week for home daycare and highest I’ve seen is $750/week

$600 a week is a lot. I would make sure the daycare is level 4 and incredible on the inside and with incredible staff. That’s quite a lot. Is it private? I work at a daycare that is level 4 and it’s about $370 a week for infants and $270 a week for all others. If you have more than one child attending that’s different. But for one $600 is crazy!

@Destiny it's private and they do have smaller ratios of 4 kids to 1 teacher. Also, provide home cooked healthy meals, potty training, in the summer they have water activities weekly, field trips as well as zoo animals/petting zoo days. They provide a lot which is great I just thought it's not even the most expensive in our area

Where we lived in PA when our first was born was going to be $1600 a month I Believe. No clue what it is here, my Mil watches for free
