Hello all! I’m a 32 yr old T1D since I was 15.
Nearly 13 weeks pregnant with my first, following a miscarriage last year.
So glad to have found this app and group!
Had a stressful day today with shugs rising to 17 and not coming down, can’t help but beat myself up over it!
Seeing some of your posts have helped so much 💙

Hello there! I'm T1D as well, almost 30 years now. I'm 35 years old and pregnant with my first one. I'm using the Medtronic close loop system and it has made a huge difference to my blood sugars. Ups and downs will happen, unless it lasts for days, it shouldn't be too bad, but if anything just get in touch with your doctor 😊

Hi Mantha!
I’m on closed loop with the tslim & Dexcom. Been pumping for 8 years now and my control is good. Hba1c is 41. Pumping definitely has been amazing for me and my control but the Dexcom helped even more.
Lucky enough to have a great DSN who takes my panicked calls all the time 😅 she is so responsive which is great!
I’ve been at least 70% in range so far and trying to see the good but get so anxious when I’m high!
How’d you find the Medtronic CGM pump? I was on the 640G for my first 7 years of pumping 😊

I've been using Medtronic pumps for about 12 years and I'm quite happy with them. It has definitely made the pregnancy less stressful! I'm glad to hear you're doing so well, that's amazing! 😊 A few highs will happen, it's all part of "all the things pregnancy messes with" 😂 I'm sure your DSN has told you so as well. I have a few highs as well but my doctor is super happy with how my blood sugars look as a whole so I'm not too worried.
