When should I install the isofix base in the car?

I’m 38w + 6 but don’t want to do it too early as heard that even a little bump on the car can render the base and car seat unsafe. Advice pls!

We’ve done this as if you’re not used to installing them it can be a bit of a faff the first time and not something I’d want to be doing when the baby is here etc. Anytime from now is probably a safe bet

I’m putting my base in next week at 38 weeks and risking the base. It can be claimed back on insurance if you have a bump. I can’t imagine trying to put in the base when we need to head to the hospital. But the seat will be on the day x

We put the base in a couple weeks ago (I’m 37 + 2 weeks) it came out again a week later as we went out with my in laws so needed the space in the car, still need to put it back in but we’ve at least had a practice run x

Ours is in 37+2

I’m almost 37 weeks and put mine in this week.

Put ours in around 36 weeks cause I was fed up with the box sitting in the house. It’s also meant we can have a bit of practice with it with out worrying about baby

I put mine in at 36 with the car seat was this wrong?
