Hi mamas! For those of you who breastfeed, does your baby comfort nurse all night long? I’m on day 3 and my milk has already come in. Baby just wants to be at the breast non stop and I can’t get a minute to myself for sleeping. It’s rough. Anyone else in that boat?? Do you have tips for settling your newborn without being constantly latched on??

My baby is still doing this at 2 weeks 😭 I love all the cuddles, but I also miss sleep soooo much. I keep hearing that it gets better though.

Hi! Starting to experience something similar… the nurses told me “cluster feeding” is a thing and will help the milk come in… but after 15 min or so you can delatch and give them a break. I’m finding he responds well to swaddling when he’s not breastfeeding.

I didn’t have my baby yet and I know everyone doesn’t use one, but would a pacifier help in this situation?

So I found my baby doing this and I gave her a pacifier because she wasn’t actually hungry or trying to eat she just wanted to comfort suck and that helped me a lot and she spits it out after she’s done comforting herself and only wants it sometimes and it helps me tell the difference between her just wanting to suck for comfort and her being hungry
