Is that possible?! My little girl wakes often crying and straightening / stiffening her whole body and is only calmed if I hold her and put her on the boobs, she immediately stops most of the time this way. This has gone on for months and I’m at a loss. She is breastfed and cosleeps and wakes to nurse a lot through the night. In feel like she wakes because of this sleep set up as she doesn’t take a dummy so needs to have my boob around at all times 🙃 but I feel like there is also some discomfort there. Surely not colic at this age? Nothing comes up when I wind her and she isn’t super gassy generally. Like I said this has just always been the way so it’s not down to a tooth coming through etc.

Sounds a lot more like tantrums! X

I don’t think colic would soothe from feeding x

She on whole milk yet? Having a similar thing, along with a tiny bit of vomit, so we're wondering if a bit of lactose intolerance as her tummy seems sore at night

If you think she might be uncomfortable at all you could always take her to a chiropractor or similar to rule that out :)
yes she is having one bottle of it before bed (plus in her cereal etc) and this is a thought that has crossed my mind too. No vomit here, but her poos always seem to be different in colour and texture each time too. My gut tells me that the cry is discomfort not a tantrum cry.. is sounds different and strained
yes this is a good idea I may try that
