When I tried nexplanon it worked for me for about a whole year! But I barely had a period it was amazing. Once it became unpredictable, often 1-2x a month.. that's when you know the device isn't working right. I mean it's probably good at stopping pregnancy from happening but it shouldn't be like that. We have known side effects and this is one of them to get it removed

I had the same issue with the Nexplanon and just got it removed

I do have the iud and had the same bleeding occur; and my iron dropped: fainted 2x. Went to my primary to run blood and now I’m on iron pills vitamin d3 s and vitamin c to be able to absorb it all. Motherhood takes everything from our bodies! The iud with irregular bleeding also happened to be it also was my first iud
