My girl is now 5.5 months old and I’m looking to start back working she used to take a bottle up until about a month and a half ago when I stopped pumping due to her losing weight and the health visitors telling me jut to feed her off both sides rather than pumping. I’ve done a kit day today thinking she’d be ok I only missed 1 feed and pumped in work my husband went to feed her and she refused, he carried on attempting to feed her with the bottle of expressed milk and she kept refusing. Any tips on getting her to take the bottle? I was only gone 5 hours today but I’ve only got 3 months until I’m back full time so really need her to start taking the bottles but also don’t want to stop breastfeeding.

Does she take a cup for her water? Might be worth trying a cup for milk, I found it much easier giving milk in a different coloured cup to water as then they learn what to expect
I haven’t tried her with any water yet, but will give the cup a try and see how it goes! Thank you 😊

I got the bottle handles for bottles, and let her play with it and figure it out. She refuses the bottle if I help her.
