Hello
Just going back to work and my baby is 10 months old…. I’m dreading it to be honest.
Being away in the day seems hard enough.
Is any mum here working rotating shifts ? Any tips? She is breastfed and eating food too… Any advice about to to make it work? Or should I just stick to days. If so until when?
Thank you

Hi I did shift work with my first, went back when he was 9 months, I swapped all my shifts to night 21.00-06.00. so I left after he was asleep and was able to do bedtime and was he before he woke up. I did have help though, not sure if you do. So when I got home I'd do his breakfast and then he would nap mid morning and I'd sleep aswell and when he woke up I always had someone who would take him and play/do lunch so I had and extra two ISH hours to sleep before his after lunch nap and we would do that together too. Id get up after and spend time with him, make us both dinner and stuff. I also swapped all my shifts so I had a block of night then got like 10 days off, that helped and obvs when he started nursery at 3 after I dropped him I'd sleep and chill till his pick up time then stay awake till night shift. I also expressed when I could and topped up with formula if he needed and I wasn't there.
