Any progress after Membrane Sweep

i had 3 membrane sweeps and nothing happened, i stayed 2 Cm the entire time, finally getting induced tomorrow, im 40+2

I had a membrane sweep on Tuesday. So far just losing my mucus plug. She stretched my cervix from 1 to about a 2.5. I had cramping before too. I’ll be 40 weeks on Friday

how do you know how much they stretched you?

I’m only 38 weeks. Fingers crossed these babies come out before induction is needed.

she told me when she did it. That I was a 1 and she stretched to about a 2.5 while doing the membrane sweep

I wasn’t told, I was told I was 1cm and she did the sweep and I won’t find out till Tuesday if I’ve dilated anymore. 🥲

the doctor might not have stretched you. That was technically my last appointment.

that was technically my last doc appointment before my c section. I have one ultrasound for a biophysical tomorrow and I’ll probably ask for another one. But I might not see a doctor so idk

next Tuesday is my last one before induction on next friday and we plan on doing another sweep but I’ve been losing my mucus plug the last two days.

same I’m hopefully she’ll come. But I can’t be induced cause I had a emergency c section for my first and they are afraid it’ll cause a uterine rupture

So I had my 2nd sweep this morning and I’m 2cm dilated. And these cramps are getting intense.

hopefully that’s good news for you 💪🏾. Mine have all but stopped so I’m hoping they will do a second one today.

I hope so. I’m doing a water birth so my midwife’s are very natural and gave me some herbs to start taking to help.

no second sweep for me unless they can squeeze me in tomorrow. But I got a bunch of spicy stuff and pineapples lol see if these other tricks work.

do you have dates too? My midwife also encouraged me to have sex or orgasm to help as well.

My contractions have started for sure but not lasting enough yet. I’m actually getting my hair done now lol

nope not dates. Just spicy Thai food and my broke water at 4am
