To all those people saying that the mamas to be who are experiencing difficulties or concerns in their pregnancies should be more mindful of your anxieties… please get over yourselves. If the thought of someone else’s problems sends you into a spiral, imagine how that poor mum feels when it is actually her reality. She’s just come on here to seek an outlet or some advice and her first thought may not be your feelings. Stop being so entitled.
Miscarriages affect 1 in 4, maybe even 1 in 3 because women don’t talk about it. Not to mention all the other things that can go wrong in pregnancy. Stop shaming mums for being brave enough to speak up and ask for advice.

Facts queen d

Would be good to mention that after 10 weeks the chance of loss is 1%... 1 in 3 or 4 women sounds extremely scary and stressful. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’m 13 weeks and I so scared of this

You're 18, cut yourself some slack 🌸 When I was 18 I was also scared of everything 😄 Trust in your body, your baby and believe we as women were made to carry life and it has been happening for thousands of years. You can do this X

it might sound scary and stressful but it’s a scary and stressful thing that happens in 1 in 4 pregnancies. It’s a scary and stressful thing that happens to so many women.
And saying that “our bodies are made for this” as a way of batting aside someone’s concern over miscarriage is very insensitive towards women who have had miscarriages as it’s almost saying that our bodies were somehow defective
I’m all for supporting people and being positive but that shouldn’t equate to dismissing or minimising someone’s concerns or experience just because it’s negative

Alright :)

Sorry didn’t mean to come across as attacking you xx

No worries. I didn't want to get into unnecessary argument. I respect your opinion, it is valid and you are coming from your experience while mine is different and obviously a message can be understood in many different ways too, downside of social media :) Everyone is unique and got their angle and equal advice.

totally agree and sometimes a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B is needed… life isn’t black and white we all live in the shades of grey in the middle ❤️
