Good morning. I'm having a difficult morning and looking for others who understand. My husband is a mostly functioning depressed alcoholic. He's been slacking on his duties at home again and I'm very anxious about how bad it's going to get. For context we live off grid in an RV so he's responsible for hauling in water, filling the generator with gasoline, and emptying the sewage. He's responsible for those things because I'm not physically strong enough to do them without over exerting myself. But lately I've been the one hauling in water and filling the generator with gas. Luckily I can do those things, it's just really hard and I tire easily. But the sewage I'm not able to do at all, and it needs done in the next few days or else I'll have to start going to the bathroom in the woods I guess. I'm just dreading having to remind him that it needs done because I know no matter how nicely I phrase it, he will get angry and then further delay doing it. I wish I could just do it myself and avoid the whole situation altogether.

that's a good idea! I had been considering digging a big hole- it's all sand out here so it would be easy. I'll look more into your idea though. Maybe if I build my own toilet he'll get the message 😞

Just an update - he did empty the sewage after it got so full we couldn't flush the toilet anymore. So I have a working toilet now yay!
