Hello, I was wondering if any of you will know. So I have filled out my paperwork for the sure start maternity grant and I have it ready to be sent off. Do any of you know if I have to go to my local job centre and send it from there or if I can just drop it in my nearest red post box as it hasn’t got stamps or a adress other than the “freepost DWP SSMG” that they say to put on the envelope. I haven’t got a license and walking is really painful as I am 37+6 and it would be much easier to just drop it to my nearest post box. But I just don’t want it to get lost as it has personal information on it as well as my matb1 form.
Thank you in advance for any info x

I went to send it via the job centre and they advised sending it through a normal post box as it’ll be quicker. I just sent it with “Freepost DWP SSMG” and I received a text a few weeks later saying they received it and we’re processing my claim

Just pop it in the postbox, doesn’t require a stamp and job centre will probably tell you the same as don’t think they can post it for you
Thank you everybody. I’ll pop it in the post box tomorrow. Thank you so much!!
