Is the Artipoppe carrier worth $300+?!

Can you use it front facing?/ any suggestions for carriers? Not of fan of very stiff, stuffy carries with a ton of adjustments. I just find it gets too clunky on my short torso.

You can use them front facing with an insert. I would say they are worth it because you can always resell them close to the price you buy it for- so if you get it used for $300 or buy online with a discount code for a little over $300, it really holds its value

They tend to be soft and not stiff. A good dupe is a Mabe carrier but it’s not as soft as an Artipoppe

I love my baby Bjorn mini
They can go both ways.
You can buy it on sale under $100 and they honestly stay nice for years
I have a mesh one and love it

I like my baby Tula carrier you can front and back carry and it adjusts for both so the hips are in the best position

I absolutely loved my Artipoppe one. I got mine off fb marketplace so I didn't pay full whack. I'd definitely buy again. I had other carriers and nothing else compared for me

Sakura bloom carrier is great. I have that one also ergo baby and wild bird. But there’s this new brand that’s called mabē on Instagram that has ones almost exactly like the artipoppe and so much cheaper that I just bought. The only downside is they are pre ordering so it’ll take a little bit for it to Come

It is expensive for something that's not overly adjustable.

I would personally say there are better options for a lower price. Artipoppe have a big marketing budget.

World facing is not a necessary step that you have to take if you don't want to. Recommendations are from 6-12 months, weight limit of 10kg. Should only be done for short periods and never when baby is asleep

Personally I'd hire some options to try and see what you get on with. It's so personal.

lenny lamb is a cheaper alternative and more comfortable IMO

From what I’ve seen you can’t get the legs into a M shape, which they should be otherwise it hurts the hips. I had ergo360 and then switched to lillebaby and loved both. I would make sure it has certifications regarding hip safety for infants.

Avatar

the legs really need to be an in the m position when babies are in carriers. Can this be positioned for that?

Avatar

I loved the ergo baby embrace... faces both way but not for back carry comfortable like a warp but super quick and easy to put on all by yourself

Avatar

hey yes! these are the ONLY carriers which has been approved/safe for hips. think it’s the way the photo is taken, my son was always m shaped. if you go on artipoppe website they have their creditenials and their safety

Avatar

the hip dysplasia institute is a list that companies pay to be on so doesn't necessarily mean they are the best.

The artipoppe can achieve an m shape but same as any other carrier only really when worn correctly.

When baby is in padded clothing, waistband is too low, waistband is dipping etc they are more likely to not be in an m shape cos they aren't being supported the way you'd like (under legs - knee to knee)

If anyone wants £50 off an artipoppe just message me! ☺️

Can someone pls help i keep making this post and nobody is responding

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?

Postpartum

I’m only 3 days postpartum (FTM) and already have extremely bad anxiety. I’m crying every night, as I think of another night of no sleep. My baby will not settle in his cot, he cries every moment we put him down unless in his chair rocker. So me and my partner are having to alternate after 3/4 hours of being awake with him downstairs. I’m trying everything to get him to settle. It’s a load of overwhelming stress. I’m 23, I was desperate for a baby and now I have one and feel completely useless. I miss it just being me and my partner.

When does it get better?

I was crying on the phone with the perinatal mental health team today and the lovely lady, bless her, kept assuring me that it gets better. I kept telling her I hope so because people have been saying that since having my LO and it just feels like it keeps getting worse. She assured me it gets better....

Crawling

Did anyone’s little one start crawling yet? I feel like we are falling behind but really have no idea. I’m trying to introduce more floor time but it’s been rough because of having hardwood floors and our 80 lb oblivious to life dog. I got us a carpet for the living room and trying to put the dog out more when the weather allows. She sits like a pro and will roll to get the things she needs😅 but no real signs of crawling yet.

Silver cross pushchair

Has anybody had experience with the sliver cross cove or breeze? Me and my partner can’t make an agreement 😅 I like the cove but is it worth the extra money to the breeze?
