I am a FTM due very soon! I have just bought a pram (Jengo Panorama Lite) and it says that it is for newborns but it does not lie completely flat, it is slanted upwards.
I am just wondering if anyone knows if this is safe for a newborn or if I need to buy another pram that lies completely flat?

I had a city select double the seat for my newborn (used from a few days old) and it didn’t lay flat it was either too flat that his legs were higher than his head or he was sat up a slight bit so opted for the sat up a slight bit, never had any issues but I never took my eyes off him just to be safe

I had mine in a pram that wasn’t completely flat but for no longer than about an hour. We ended up buying the bassinet attachment so that we didn’t need to move him if he fell asleep during a walk (supervised naps in this bassinet attachment as there are no breathable sides etc)

Reds Baby Pram Bassinets are SIDS approved for sleeping 💙

Yes. I didn't have a bassinet attachment. Just a pram with a newborn insert. They grow out of the bassinet so quickly, it isn't worth it in my opinion.

@Liv can you please share where you got this info
I can't find anything saying that it is

hmm ours is Metro which seems to be old now
It said it on the bassinet, I swear I’m not going crazy. (Bassinet isn’t with me anymore).
We never had him sleep big stints though, we used a Snoo for him till he was older enough for the cot
