We use mum and you biodegradable and plastic free wipes on subscription from Amazon they don’t contain PFAs and having used them on 2 kids they are really gentle and kind to their skin. Just noticed you are in USA we have much more strict rules on what can go in products here and not sure if this brand is specific to UK

Maybe Caboo, healthy baby, or Honest

I use reusable(cloth) wipes and diapers. We love them and never have to worry about anything bad in them. We've been using them for almost 3 years now(2 different kids).

I use water wipes

Ecopea wipes

I use honest but might switch. I've been using healthy baby diapers and will probably try their wipes

I use primarily reusable cloth wipes, and I really like them. I didn't like having to go to the sink to get them wet each time, so I keep a container of water at the changing station.

I recently started using Healthy Baby wipes and diapers and I like them! Especially the diapers! No wetness indicator either. They are sold at Target

Avatar

I also was using pipette wipes for a long time but it takes forever for the orders to come in and usually order them last minute

Amazon essentials unscented baby wipes, 910 wipes for 22$ and can schedule consistent delivery

wipes are harsh on my LOs skin. I use cotton pads and if damp ones are needed I use water.

I also have like 50 small Terry towels for kitchen use, they are amazing for wiping up Bub and tables after meals. Invest in those too mama and meal cleanup is a breeze w a spray bottle. Wet one w water I wipe bubs hands and face, get him out then use the spray and wipe table and floor under highchair then I go outside and flick all the food off and goes into basket to be washed.

I use Grovia cloth wipes on Amazon. I don't think it really matters the brand. Just make sure the ones you get are double layer because the single layer ones aren't as good and you will have to use more of them per diaper change.

Avatar

where do you store them before like having enough to wash them?

Avatar

so you just use water? Or do you spray baby with a special solution? (For diaper changes)

Avatar

The clean ones get stored in a laundry basket with the clean cloth diapers. When I need one I just pull one out then wet it with warm water. Then after they are used they go into a wet bag with the dirty diapers. I recommend a wet bag with a zipper. Then I do a diaper/wipes laundry load every other day.

Avatar

yeah I just use water at home and wet as I go but when he was newborn I had a thermos w warm water and just dipped the wipes into that, water stays warm for 2 days. For mums who prefer to prewet a whole bunch of wipes in a container you can do a tiny squirt of their baby wash w water but you don’t need to.

Healthy Baby wipes are biodegradable and do not contain harmful ingredients. They are textured and large. My one and only gripe with them is that they do have a natural smell, which is obviously preferred but for some reason the scent bothers me (luckily it’s only for a minute at a time).

We also use their diapers and love them, they have no wetness indicator which is just unnecessary chemicals in other diapers.

Should I be concerned or am I overthinking?

My little boy is 15 months old, he’s recently taken his first steps and he says mamma and dadda and baba (he has said these for months) we’ve filled out the paperwork for his 12-14 month review and it looks like he isn’t meeting many of his milestones.

He doesn’t copy actions, point, clap etc. He doesn’t react when being spoken to, or to his name. He actively avoids eye contact.

He was so unresponsive to sound that we just had his hearing tested concerned he was deaf. They found that he could hear so he is just choosing not to react to any noises or sounds.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with their little ones? Should I be raising this with the health visitor and ask to be assessed for neurodivergent issue or a social communication problem like autism?

I don’t want to just slap a label on him, but I do feel that there are real concerns. All opinions welcome!!

Any routines you have that work for you, please let me know them with timestamps. my baby is 6 weeks and just wondering when we should start them?

Does anyone else’s baby spit up breastmilk but not formula?

I’m seriously considering seeing a lactation consultant because I don’t understand why he can’t hold down breastmilk but can formula. I use soy formula since I’ve used it with my daughter and I’m thinking it might be due to not getting milk coming in for a few days so I had no choice but to give him formula, but now even if I take breaks in between feeding him breastmilk to burp or try to mix breastmilk and formula, he spits it up sooo much. I’m ready to just give him just formula because I’m worried about him not eating enough

Bed time tips for 8 week old

So I literally cannot get my 8 week down to sleep before 11:30pm every night no matter how early we start our routine. We tend to do bath every second night but every night consists of feed, up to bed, into pjs, book, feed to sleep. We could start this routine at 7 and it would still be the case of not selling til 11:30.

She doesn’t nap during the day well, we get a 30 minute in the morning, and a 1 hour in the afternoon only if I’m out the house. She’s never distressed when she’s awake all that time, quite the thing being nosey and having cuddles. She’s EBF and her feeds all through the day are LONG and last from 30-45 mins each feed.

Any tips/advice recommended on how to get to bed earlier or just how to get her to sleep in general.
