I'm struggling with keeping my sugar levels under control and being a mum. My sugar levels are up and down like a yo-yo because I have to tend to baby first, or I can't get the ratios of my insulin correct. My mum helps me out with baby a lot but I still feel like it gets on top of me. I feel like a failure like I'm incapable of doing this 😪 not sure if anyone has any advice or just after some support really

I definitely get it but if you don’t take care of yourself properly how can you properly take care of the baby? As long as the child isn’t in any immediate distress or danger, address your sugar levels first. Consider speaking with your Endo to help with insulin adjustments especially if newly postpartum and/breastfeeding. You got this mama! It’s completely doable.

Are you on a pump or CGM? I’m finally on a closed loop system with Medtronic pump and Medtronic G6 CGM and I’m in range about 80-90% of the time; and I’m not good at eating right (usually no breakfast besides my iced coffee) and snack thru day till meal at dinner.

I have a CGM but no pump. I've got my diabetes appointment on the 12th now and hoping for a pump!

In in the same boat. I’m a first time mom 7 weeks pp and my blood sugars are swinging from low too high and back again and I’m on the Dexcom/tandem closed loop system. I was also 70% in range during my pregnancy and I have no idea what I’m doing!🫣
