Bleeding after stopping progesterone

I am 12 weeks 3 days pregnant via IVF, stopped meds at 12 weeks and today started red spotting. Not sure if this is normal or if I should ring my clinic.

Deffo call the clinic! I was on progesterone pessaries & didn't bleed when I stopped them. I was on them due to recurrent MC & had to stay on them for 34 weeks the first time & I came off them at 26 the next!!x

This happened to me but I had a diagnosed SCH. Basically at the first sign of bleeding at 8 weeks my RE pumped up my progesterone a TON. I didn’t bleed again until I was weaned from the progesterone and at that point I had a massive bleed and passed palm sized clots. Progesterone suppresses the bleeding I think so there may be a chance you had an undiagnosed SCH and this is just you expelling the blood. Definitely ring your doctor.

Call them this happened to me the medication had suppressed a miscarriage after stopping medication I started to bleed slowly

@Elise I had a diagnosed SCH at 6 weeks and they stopped blood thinners and it stopped. Thank you for sharing your experience, I called but keep getting voicemail and I also messaged them on the app

@Jennifer I had a scan on Monday and babies were doing very good. Waiting on response from doctor.

This happened to me Tuesday I ended up at the epu today and they said the bleed came from my placenta taking over and they can see more blood so to expect to spot more. I got represcribed progesterone up to 16 weeks. I also had to have an anti shot due to being a negative blood type

It has slowed down a lot and is dark brown. Nothing on a pad yesterday or today. My doctor said to keep with my original appointment for this coming Tuesday but if it got worst to go to the ER. I haven’t had any cramping which makes me feel like Telo’s cramping I did have just have been the progesterone. Just hoping everything is ok, I also used Doppler(I am not an expert) to listen for babies and heard both their heartbeats last night.
