My LO has always been a poor sleeper but has recently started to sleep through the night ( the majority of the time). We are going away on holiday and he will be sleeping in the same room as us - which I feel is going to disrupt him. Those that have been away 1) have you got any tips. 2) If they did wake up lots during the night when you were away, did they go back into routine when they got home? Thanks.

My little one has always slept really poor whenever we’ve been away, probably due to many factors, but has always fallen back into his routine a day or two after getting back home.
I would say just try to with the flow on holiday and don’t stress about the sleep too much x

We went away last week, it wasn’t too bad at all! She fell asleep on our bed, then I transferred her to cot and we went on the terrace quietly. We made sure we had everything we needed accessible so we could get into bed quietly. There were a couple of early mornings where she came in bed with us but it wasn’t too bad at all! She went straight back to bedtime routine when we got home. Naps are still a slight struggle but always have been xx
Thanks, everyone, for your responses. Reassuring to know that your babies went back into their routine when they got home too xx
