Had anyone on here from Melbourne, Australia who had a successful VBAC? I’m wondering if I can do it in the public system or I have to go private which then I probably should look for health insurance.
I also don’t know anyone who has had a VBAC as everyone I know who had a c section had to have another with their next baby. And I really want to have a natural.

I had a vbac at Monash November last year :). Public patient and was induced. Message if you want!

Hey Danielle, I’m planning a VBAC at the royal women’s in October, and they have been supportive. I’ve booked a private midwife instead of an OB and she will come and support me during labour at home and at the hospital. You should read the book birth after cesarean by hazel keedel, it’s got a great details on the stats around VBAC that can really help build your confidence. There is also a Facebook group where Australian women share their VBAC stories, it’s called ‘VBAC Australia support group’

Nice good luck
I’m looking more around my area as if it does turn into a c section family can come and visit as they don’t all drive
