Hello, my baby is 8 days old and hasn’t been able to latch yet :( I’ve had support workers come out to help but still no success. I had a c-section so my milk supply came in 3 days later. I have been pumping and giving it in a bottle alongside some formula feeds too. I really want to exclusively breastfeed 😔 Any suggestions and tips please 🙏

Check out The labor room podcast on spotify. It is from a labour and delivery nurse and mum of 3 and she has got great info about BF and pumping there as well as a blog called Alifeinlabor and BF course you can buy worth every penny.
In the meantime you can try as much cuddles without clothes as possible and possibly nipple shields cup to help baby drink.

I have inverted nipples and baby has absolutely no interest in latching so I was pumping and giving in a bottle but then we tried nipple shields with the help of breastfeeding peer support and he latches great with those. We also do alot of skin to skin ♥️

Have you tried nipple shields that's what works for us

Have they been checked for tongue tie? Also getting baby seen by an osteopath will release any tension in baby helping them latch better

My babys 10 days and she either latches and pushes herself off screaming or latches and goes to sleep 🤦🏼♀️
I know it doesnt help but ive just got in to a great pumping routine and took the positive of at least i can see how much she’s getting so i know shes feeding well.
I wanted to exclusively breast feed but at least shes only having breast milk.
Best of luck though x
