Hello everyone, just a question for you all!
I’m on 4x metformin a day and 8 units of insulin at night - absolutely nothing lowers my sugars. I’ve had consultations with dieticians & diabetic consultants to discuss meal plans etc, and nothing I eat lowers my levels, they’re constantly out of range. Even my fasting levels are bordering 7.0 some mornings!
My question is - will they want baby out much sooner due to my uncontrolled GD? Of course I want her to stay cooking in there for as long as possible! But I also know there is risks - They were already discussing getting her out at around 37 weeks due to her size BEFORE my levels started getting out of control just over a week and a bit ago - could this potentially be pushed forward? I’m worried about her being born super early

They may want her out earlier but remember they have so much experience weighing up the pros and cons of high birth weight/sugars Vs gestational time and she'll get the best care no matter what - everything will be okay 💖
