Almost two and still not sleeping through the night!

Hey all!

My twins are nearly two and still waking up several times a night. We’ve tried everything: adjusting meal times and quantity of food at means, getting them off bottles fully before bed, bath time, reading books, adjusting bedtime itself. Nothing works. Suggestions??

What are their wake windows during the day? I only have a 4 month old and was warned by our doctor any routines after 6 months they sorta program in like habits. However I joined this “Respectful Sleep Training/Learning” group on Facebook and they focus a lot on age wake times and amount of naps. Let me clarify, I’m not saying anything about you sleep training when I mention that. I just discovered my baby wasn’t getting enough nap time and was staying awake too long in between naps. His choice as he has harsh baby FOMO and fights sleep no matter how little or over tired he is. But maybe looking into wake windows might help you too?

Btw I don’t know why the Peanut app showed me your question in my “For you” region. I just realized it’s a group for twin moms and I am not that. But I hope what I mentioned helps a little.

Is it cheating

My husband just told me that at work he and his male friends/coworkers pinch each others nipples as like a joke, I think it’s inappropriate and it’s cheating in a way and he does not agree he thinks it’s just funny and nothings wrong with it

A full 8 hours

My 1 month and five week old newborn just slept 8 hours. I genuinely don’t know who blessed me, but good lord am I thankful. We really only woke up a few times to put her binky back in her mouth. She did just got home from the NICU and adjustment was pretty hard for the past few nights, so she certainly deserves a lot of sleep. Just happy to see her feeling more comfortable.

Baby hates me?

Why does my baby hate me. All she wants from me is to be fed and then screams and screams at me, she settles with everyone else and i don't understand what im doing wrong. I feel like the worst mum ever and am really struggling.

Witching hour??

Pretty sure my 7 week old has a strict “lose all chill at 6pm” policy 😅

Evenings = crying, pacing, questioning my life choices 😂

Fed, burped, cuddled… still a bit of a mystery. Any tips from mums who survived this stage? How did you get through the evening chaos?!

Is nursery a bit out of line?

Today I learned that my son was “seen by someone” when picking him up. Apparently speech therapist saw him in the nursery to evaluate him and I only learned about it on pick up.

No warning, no even proper explanation of what triggered it. With one staff member saying “he is not speaking at all”, and another dismissing it and saying it’s completely normal.

And everyone seem to dismiss my shock as he is the most chatty happiest child at home.

So it triggers me that instead of finding a way to get him “open up” and make him feel secure so he starts speaking naturally. They now decided he needs to be “fixed” and probably push him into more anxiety with it. Without even consulting us.

Front sleeping

My baby is 9 months old and I was told a while back that the sleep should always start in there back, is this true and why?
My baby always wants to front sleep now and I’m fighting every night to get the sleep to start on his back or side
