I work in a nursery, my daughter will be attending the same one I work at and I’m sending my daughter 2 weeks before I start back to work.
Getting major mum guilt though for doing it, she’s only doing 2 days but I want to give her the opportunity to be there without me, so I can see how she gets on and if she’s sad I can pick her up early if needs be.
Has anyone else done this? How did your little one get on? Did it help them before you went back to work ?

Would definitely recommend sending her before you return back to work… mainly for you rather than them! My little boy started 2 weeks before I went back to work and those 4 days to myself were bliss 🤣 definitely have something organised for her first day to keep you busy. I had my hair done and it stopped me from worrying.
I also managed to get things sorted in those days before the new routine of going back to work started!
My boy was fine, a few tears the first few times but now loves it 😀

thankyou! She’s only going 2x a week (the days she and I will be doing) but she’s never been left so I’m starting her 2 weeks early in case she gets so sad.
Did your little one manage to last the whole day or did you pick him up early? x

my boy only does 2 days too and that seems like a nice amount at the min 😀
I let him do the full day - well I went for him about 4ish and that worked well because he had a little cat nap in the car to get him through to bedtime because he was exhausted! Even though he’d napped there 🤣
I’m sure she will be absolutely fine, it’s definitely worse for us parents 😩😩

I work there so I know all the girls but it’s still as nerve wracking!
I agree though! Definitely worse for us xx
