I am at my wits end.
My daughter is going to be 3 years old this Friday. She was potty trained March of this year. Shes never had a problem, peeing or pooping in the toilet until the last couple of weeks. She’s been pooping in her underwear all of the sudden, she does it like 4x a day! I don’t know what happened! I’m so sick of cleaning out poop in her underwear daily. I ask her if she has to go and she always tells me no and then poops.
I’ve tried bribing, stickers, candy, taking a toy away, taking screen time away and making her clean up her own poop and changing herself.
She starts preschool at the beginning of September she needs to be able to fully go potty herself and have no accidents. Idk what to do HELP!

You are not alone. I would ignore as best you can and just keep cleaning for now. The inconvenience is frustrating as you’ll already have so much on your plate but toileting regression as a result of big life change (like pregnancy/new sibling, house move, going to pre-school etc) is very normal. They’re not doing it on purpose and it will stop. It’s an unrealistic expectation of a pre-school as your daughter is successfully potty trained, she’s just having a hard time and they should be understanding/ supportive…3 is so young!
