Hi,
I am unsure of my actual gestational age as I haven’t had a period since jan 2023 so the hospital have booked a scan for me on Friday. We are guessing I am between 7-9 weeks has anyone had scans during this time? What should I be expecting to see?

congratulations!! & I’m just following my sons lead, he’s 9 and a half months old now and still always on the boob so he’s not showing much signs of giving them up😂 hoping he will self ween & I plan on trying to either breastfeed and pump to bottle feed for the next one and just see how it all goes really! No pressure on myself as I know it can be hard with one child let alone having a 17 month old as well as breastfeeding a newborn haha X

hey! Thought I’d respond to this as well since I’m still feeding my 14 month old. My plan is to continue until the new year. That way he’ll have a year on solids.
I’m getting married in February and don’t really want to be feeding on the wedding day. So new year seems like a good time, so my boobs won’t be uncomfortable too.
However Tandem feeding has no risks and if I didn’t have my wedding I’d probably continue. I consulted a breastfeeding specialist about it and she says if I wish to tandem feed, then ensure the newborn gets comfortable with feeding (good weight gain and latch) before allowing the toddler to feed after them.
Best of luck on the best journey ❤️
Edit: If my baby was also under 1, I would tandem feed too.
