My baby is 2 months old and nonstop breast feeds. It seems like sometimes he can go like an hour and a half at most but he wants to constantly be breastfeeding and nothing else makes him happy or go to sleep. Is this normal ?? I’m freaking tired, I really thought there would be bigger stretches of time during the day that I could put him down or hand him over to someone

At 2 months, mine was the same. I would say to hang on if it’s something that you want to do, it does get better , but it does take time and by time you get used to one thing, it all changes again. A health visitor said to me “everything is a phase and nothing is permanent” and it’s true. There’s no such thing as a routine for the first 6 months ish 😂 but I promise that it will get easier, they grow so much during this time hence the constant feeding. Mines 12 months now and gosh, there had been nights where I thought I can’t carry on breastfeeding, but the next day always seems to be a bit better. Good luck mama, you’ll get there! 💖

Look up the difference between feeding vs comfort suckling/latching your baby could’ve finished a feed and then just comfort suckling/latching you will be able to physically see, feel and hear the difference once you know the difference between then two.
Have you had your baby checked for oral tongue ties? Maybe your baby has one and is struggling to feed.
Do you use a pacifier? If so when baby is done actually feeding and starts to comfort suckling/latching you can swap your nipple out of baby’s mouth and use the pacifier as placement. But if you’re using a pacifier just keep on top of when baby needs to have their next feed.
