I tried to feed mine every two hours during the day so he is less tired at night and also make everything really relaxing I.e dimmed lights, less noise in the hour before i put him to bed. Ill change his nappy and put him into fresh sleepsuit and make the room really dark with some white noise then I'll do one last feed, maybe rock him with some nursery rhymes and then put him down once he's sleeping. He also makes a lot of noise in his sleep which i used to think was him waking up but now I wait a few minutes and listen to see if he is actually waking up to feed or if he's just making noise and will settle back down.

We do a routine of bath, bottle, bed - swaddling has helped his sleep a lot! He sleeps long stretches (6-9 hrs) since swaddling. The room is completely dark and quiet at a nice temp x

No new advice, only that I’m in the boat with you😉. I know it’s really bad but to try and get baby into a deeper sleep, I’ve just made a cup of (decaf) tea and had some chocolate while she’s laid in my arms. Least I feel more awake now and happy. Will try put her down again soon, fingers crossed she’s in a deep enough sleep. Hope you’re having a better night! X
Baby is 9 weeks x
Edit: it didn’t work, baby woke as soon as I put her down. It was a nice cup of tea though.
